Soccer Documentaries

Soccer Documentaries

Dear Players & Families,

We are now seeing A LOT of movement on the app! That is amazing. We want to make sure players are training the proper amount of time over the next few weeks. Please make sure you are timing players accordingly and 90-120 minutes per day is the MAX players should train! Tommorrow morning we will be sending our fitness plan created by John Shipley. This will be imperative for 2007-2001 Players to stay in peak physical shape. It will be easy to slip into a lazy mentality of video games, snap chat, and relaxing, so hopefully these guided sessions will help maintain the focus.

As the weather is a little over cast today, we had Andrew Gillis put together a list of soccer documentaries on Amazon and Netflix that we as a staff LOVE! I have personally just started "All or Nothing" about the Brazilian National Team but it didnt make the top 5 as we havent finished it yet!

I have put an asterisk next to the movies that have some crude language in the locker room (halftime talks, post game talks) so please make sure you view the documentaries an episide ahead of your child to guage the comfort level of the language.

  • Sunderland till I Die- Netflix *
  • All or Nothing: Man City- Prime *
  • Class of 92- Prime
  • Make Us Dream- Prime (Steven Gerrard Story)
  • First Team Juventus- Netflix
