Attack-Minded

Looks to advance the game. Plays forward when possible, breaks lines through passing or dribbling, attacks space, combines around pressure, and recognizes opportunities to counterattack.

Purposeful in Possession

Values the ball but understands that possession is a tool, not the objective. Uses possession to move defenders, create advantages, open space, and generate attacking opportunities.

Competitive & Aggressive in Transition

Reacts immediately when possession changes. Attacks quickly when the ball is won and counter-presses, delays, recovers, and competes to regain it when the ball is lost.

Adaptable

Can solve different problems, play in different environments, and adjust to teammates, opponents, pressure, space, and the demands of the game.

The Pipeline player is not defined by a position, formation, or system. They are defined by their ability to understand the game, execute the fundamentals, solve problems, compete, and play with confidence and attacking intent.

Who runs Zone One

Zone One was designed and built by Santino Quaranta, Pipeline’s co-founder, together with Chris Resseguie, who also serves as the club’s Zone 1 Director — overseeing the coaching staff, curriculum, and day-to-day standards for every U8–U12 team.

Zone One operates within the director hierarchy Sean Rush and Santino Quaranta built when they co-founded Pipeline SC in 2011 — keeping every zone, including the youngest, aligned to one club-wide identity.

What happens inside Zone One doesn’t happen anywhere else — it’s a standard, not a curriculum you can download. But the goal behind it is simple: we are committed to making every single player better, and helping every one of them fall in love with the world’s beautiful game.
