Pipeline COVID-19 Protocol 2021-2022

Pipeline COVID-19 Protocol

Please note: All COVID-19 protocols are subject to change pending CDC and local authorities

COVID-19 Vaccination: Pipeline is not requiring a COVID-19 vaccine for players as a condition of participation. Vaccination is strongly encouraged by the
CDC as a means to reduce the risk of people spreading the virus that causes COVID-19 and as a critical mitigation strategy to protect members of school communities. For those who are eligible, we encourage a consultation with your health care provider to make an informed decision regarding vaccination.

Daily Screening: All individuals are asked to refrain from attending practices/games/team events if they are ill or have symptoms of COVID-19, have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test. Players may return to practices/games once symptoms have stopped. If COVID-19 testing is pursued, a rapid or PCR test is accepted.

Contact Tracing: All Coaches, Players and members of Pipeline SC who are actively on fields are required to report positive household cases and any possible exposure to their individual team coach. The Baltimore County Department of Health, persons who come within six feet of a person with COVID-19 infection for 15 or more total minutes in a 24-hour period are considered to have “close contact” and must quarantine unless fully vaccinated or if universal masking is in place. We will continue to provide timely notification of confirmed positive cases and issue quarantine instructions as needed.
